Ventilairsec, a French industrial company and leading specialist in ventilation, pioneered positive input ventilation with its VMI brand and is now a trusted name throughout France. Operating from our site in Couëron, Loire-Atlantique, we design and manufacture ventilation solutions that improve the air we breathe, both at home and in the workplace. For 40 years, we have dedicated our know-how and experience to pursue a common goal: protecting indoor spaces from humidity, radon, and other invisible pollutants. Behind each of our products is a dedicated team that truly believes cleaner air leads to a better quality of life.
Our story
1986
The founding of Ventilairsec
Ventilairsec was founded by Michel Charvet, the innovator behind the first positive input ventilation system, marketed under the Ventilairsec brand.
Launch of the VMI brand
The positive input ventilation technology developed by Ventilairsec quickly proved its effectiveness in enhancing both building health and indoor air quality. This success led to the launch of a dedicated brand: VMI.

A new momentum
Under new ownership by Michèle Potard and Claude Bardoul, Ventilairsec enters a new era focused on innovation and long-term air quality solutions.
A new challenge for Ventilairsec
Committed to continually enhancing indoor air quality, Ventilairsec launches Neosfair, a specialist in radon remediation, the brand offers a full-service solution, from measurement and diagnosis to system design, installation, and performance verification, with guaranteed results.

Ventilairsec broadens its approach by transitioning from direct sales to installers and opening up to HVAC equipment distributors.
A fresh impulse and new perspectives with Volution
Ventilairsec becomes part of Volution Group PLC, a leading European player in residential and commercial ventilation.

Launch of the Neoventil brand
To accelerate its development and make air quality improvement solutions more widely available, Ventilairsec introduces a new consumer-focused brand designed for households: Neoventil.
Aiming to establish itself as a key multi-specialist manufacturer in the French ventilation sector, our Ventilairsec company, supported by a major European group, has recently expanded its product range (including exhaust fans and heat recovery ventilation systems) and will soon introduce a range of mechanical extract ventilation systems, designed and assembled at our Couëron facility. Our reVOLUTION is underway!
